It premiered in the U.S. Documentary Competition at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival on January 23, 2026, and was released in the United States on August 14, 2026, by Watermelon Pictures. There is a scene in the film from a panel organized by the JVP Health Advisory Council National JVP meetings in Baltimore in 2025!

De-Healthification: Israel’s Engineered Collapse of Palestinian Life
De-healthification is introduced as a framework for understanding Israel’s systematic destruction of Palestinian healthcare infrastructure, particularly in Gaza. Rather than viewing the collapse of Gaza’s health system as a secondary outcome of the genocide, the brief argues that it is one of the pillars of the Israeli strategy intended to destroy Palestinian society by making Palestinian life unhealable and perishable through the constant accelerated weaponization and destruction of healthcare.

Emergency Medicine Journal
This letter reports results from a descriptive observational study based on a convenience sample of patients presenting to Nasser Medical Complex in July-September 2025 with violent injuries. A subset of patients (n=72) presented with aid-related trauma – defined as injury resulting from a violet mechanism while seeking food aid – and provided enough information to identify the geographic location of their injuries. Among this subset, two-thirds of cases (n=48) were linked to Gaza Humanitarian Foundation aid sites. Approximately three-quarters of injuries were gunshot wounds (n=55), more than two-thirds of which were to the head or neck. Children under 18 comprised 40% of critically injured patients in the subset, nearly double their proportion in the full sample.
